Job Description

Your role is pivotal in shaping comprehensive project plans and ensuring that all aspects of the project are on track. You'll lead regular status meetings, provide clear updates on project progress, and outline forthcoming tasks. Your problem-solving skills will come into play as you utilize project management tools to navigate any issues that arise, keeping your projects advancing smoothly.

As a leader, you'll energize your team, driving performance and keeping everyone aligned with our objectives. With your guidance, we'll continue to achieve quality results and push the boundaries of innovation in our industry.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: 

  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Develop and manage project schedules to support the strategic direction of the organization.

  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Manage change requests and communication around the requests.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing.

  • Manage program and multiple project teams for optimal return-on-investment, ensuring all program goals are met.

  • Conduct project team meetings.

  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Present program status as required to different organization levels.

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess program risks. Establish and track risk mitigation plans. Drive for closures. 

  • Work with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.

  • Work with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.

  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have a bachelor's degree.

  • The candidate should have 5+ years of Program Management / Project management experience.

  • Experience in using both traditional Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies.

  • Background in Hardware and Software

  • Experience with Agile Software Development is highly preferred

  • PMP Certification will be a plus

Target Base Salary Range: $72,700 - $145,400 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 5+ years of Program / Project Management experience.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
