Untether AI is building the world’s highest performance, energy-centric AI inference accelerator. We are a rapidly growing Toronto-based startup with employees across Canada and the US (and even a few outside North America). 


To help grow our organization, we are looking for a Technical Program Manager to collaborate with a bright group of engineers to tackle complex and interesting problems at the intersection of AI and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage project milestones, scope, and resources
  • Define project metrics, measure progress, anticipate issues and detect roadblocks
  • Regularly update stakeholders and leaders on project status and recommend actions
  • Manage and interact with 3rd party vendors and resources
  • Help define Untether’s project management function. Establish best practices around documentation, metrics, requirements tracking and processes. Drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

  • Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree 
  • At least 10+ years of experience working in silicon and hardware development
  • Strong technical understanding of the ASIC development process including architecture, design, verification, synthesis, timing closure, physical design, packaging and boards
  • Knowledge of silicon characterization and qualification, product test, firmware and software development and new product introduction highly desirable
  • Interest in problem-solving within highly structured and tightly constrained environments
  • Knowledge of project management tools
