BinSentry is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our platform infrastructure and critical systems. Our critical systems are robust and wide-ranging, and support our fast-growing engineering, design, sales, operations, finance, and customer success teams. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust platform capabilities and efficient internal tools that empower our teams and support business growth. We are looking for an individual with a strong focus on system design, data analysis, and operational excellence, who can adapt to diverse technical and business challenges and work within a high-growth, high-pace environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all departments to understand tooling requirements and ensure platform capabilities align with organizational objectives.
  • Work directly with the CTO and VP of Product to transition ownership of the roadmap and product delivery. Collaborate with engineering, product, and broader leadership to enable significant company growth.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews with internal teams and partner with engineering leadership to translate operational needs into platform features and tooling solutions.
  • Manage the critical systems roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, technical debt reduction, operational efficiency, and team productivity.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable platform solutions and productivity-enhancing tools.
  • Analyze platform performance metrics and critical systems usage data to evaluate effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and inform infrastructure and tooling investments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product-focused role, with a preference for platform, infrastructure, or other relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience facilitating technical discussions and gathering requirements with engineering teams.
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

  • Experience with field service management, ERP, accounting, and sales management software.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS platforms or other platform development.
