49 Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Technical Architect with expertise in ScienceLogic to join our Client at Shared Services Canada for a critical government project. This is a hybrid position requiring 100% remote work anywhere in Canada. If you or someone you know may be interested, please reach out.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions using ScienceLogic, ensuring integration with existing systems and meeting performance and scalability requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet client needs.


Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

(If you do not meet these requirements, you do not qualify and will be screened out)

Education / IT background (one of the following):

    • 3-year college diploma in IT or related field, OR
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT / engineering or related field, OR
    • 10+ years (within the last 15 years) of IT experience
  • Experience Level:
    • Level 3: 10+ years experience as a Technichal Architect
  • Valid Secret Security Clearance (as required by the client authority)

Enterprise / Service Provider Environment Experience

  • 4 years experience in Federal Government, Enterprise (5,000+ employees), or Service Provider environments

Additional Requirements

(You must meet the majority of the requirements below)

 Network Monitoring & Infrastructure

  • 5 years experience

 ScienceLogic SL1

  • 3 years hands-on experience in ScienceLogic

 Experience in Advanced ScienceLogic

  • Business Service Maps (Dynamic Apps, topology collections, PowerFlow)
  • Layer 2 & 3 Topology Maps (SNMP, LLDP/CDP, NetFlow)
  • Dashboards, KPI widgets & report templates
  • Dynamic Application development / customization

 Has delivered ScienceLogic Solutions

  • PowerFlow
  • Restorepoint

Certifications – Ideally, we are looking for the below certifications, however, if you have a similar certification to the role please identify it in your response as it may be accepted as an alternative:

  • Skylar One Professional Certification
  • Skylar One Expert Certification
  • Architecture / security certs (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP-ISSAP, OEM expert paths)
