- Help us develop our innovative technology platform that is changing the web to be more accessible
- Join our team as a “player-coach”, contributing to the code base, technical designs, and management of our engineers
Player:
- Write high-quality code with emphasis on accessibility, test coverage, and scalability
- Participate as a full Agile scrum team member, driving the delivery of work
Coach:
- Help your team write first-rate code
- Maintain a “We win as a team” mentality to uphold a positive, inclusive, coaching culture
- Mentor team members’ abilities and careers
- Lead the performance of the individuals and the team as a whole
- Collaborate effectively to implement our Product-led SaaS solutions
- Participate in architectural decisions with other members of the engineering leadership
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Shown experience with full-stack web development, preferably with MEAN stack.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn our tech stack: TypeScript, HTML, SASS, Angular, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, Rabbit
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, and to listen carefully to the needs and experiences of others
- Knowledge of the Scrum framework
Bonus Point Experiences
- Experience leading people
- Experience using:
- Git / Gitflow / Bitbucket
- Jira & Confluence
- Webpack, Rollup
- Jasmine, Puppeteer
- ESLint
- AWS, Docker, K8S, Terraform
- Experience with Web Application Security / OWASP
- Experience with accessible web design including Section 508 and WCAG
- Experience with LeSS or another large-scale scrum framework
- Prior experience building scalable applications for the cloud
