Role Description:
The Tax Technology Analyst will be responsible for implementing and optimizing tax technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our tax processes. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations, technology tools, and data analytics. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our tax operations are aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
As an entry-level professional, you will tackle challenges within a focused and manageable scope. Your role is pivotal in applying core theories and concepts to practical scenarios, reflecting a seamless transition from academic excellence to professional application. You will harness standard methodologies to evaluate situations and data, cultivating a budding understanding of industry practices. Typically, this role requires a bachelor or college degree or the equivalent professional experience. Your role is characterized by growth and learning, while your journey within Takeda will evolve, fostering valuable internal relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement tax technology solutions, including software applications and automation tools.
- Collaborate with tax professionals to identify pain points and design solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain tax data management systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct training sessions for tax staff on new technologies and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that impact tax processes.
- Analyze and interpret tax data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with DD&T and finance teams to integrate tax technology with existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in tax technology, tax compliance, or a related area
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Hyperion, OneSource, S4 Hana) and data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Power Suite Apps)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$56,000.00 - $88,000.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
