About the job

A Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Specialist is responsible for a full-cycle of recruitment, identifying, engaging, and attracting top candidates to meet the staffing needs of a company. Their duties include collaborating with hiring managers regularly and proactively identifying future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR or related background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full-cycle of recruitment: Screening/initial interview, calibration, scheduling of interview, background check, and job offer endorsement to onboarding, keeping warm of candidates

  • Ad Hoc - update trackers, sending of recruitment masterlist, send offboarding requests to hiring managers, respond to inquiries, and creation of reports/data

  • Redeployment

  • Partner with the recruiting team and leads to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.

  • Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements.

  • Maintain a steady and updated recruitment pipeline and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively identify risks ahead of time and provide resolution as soon as possible.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external affiliates/partners of the company with goals to build credibility and partnership for improving yields.

  • Achieve individual performance specific to attendance, punctuality and schedule adherence

  • Consistent adherence to company policies and code of conduct

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or undergraduate of Human Resources, Business Ad, or a related field is often preferred. Minimum of 1.6 years experience in recruitment, and talent acquisition, specifically in a BPO set-up

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking system (ATS), sourcing tools, vendors, caravans, and sourcing channels.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Well-versed with G-Suite applications

  • Amenable to fully work onsite in Global One, Eastwood, QC

  • Amenable to work for a fixed-term employment of 6 months (with the possibility to be absorbed)
