407 ETR is currently seeking an experienced and driven Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team for a 6-month contract. The incumbent will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from identifying and engaging with potential candidates to conducting screening interviews and extending offers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals and hiring needs.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and identify ideal candidate profiles.

  • Build recruitment strategies and source candidates for a wide range of roles (from entry level to senior leadership) across IT, Finance, Customer Service, Highway Services, HR, Marketing and Communications and other departments.

  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including ATS, job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events, to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, labour market shifts, and competitor activity to provide strategic sourcing recommendations to hiring managers.

  • Conduct initial screening and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural add.

  • Manage the candidate experience, providing timely updates and ensuring a positive impression of the company throughout the recruitment process.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates, facilitate interviews, and facilitate hiring decisions.

  • Negotiate job offers and handle offer management, ensuring competitive and compliant compensation packages.

  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, leveraging data and metrics to identify areas for optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

  • Strategically plan and coordinate participation in targeted job fairs, recruitment events, and industry conferences to actively promote the company's employer brand and directly engage with top talent pools.

  • Build partnerships with the HRBPs and collaborate on servicing a business unit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition roles.

  • Strong understanding of various recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and talent assessment methods.

  • Extensive candidate sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn.

  • Experience building candidate sourcing strategies across various channels.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, HRBPs and senior leaders across 407 ETR.

  • Ability to communicate employer value preposition to candidates to engage candidates and create interest in 407 ETR and open roles.

  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience using Workday is preferred.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
