The Systems Implementation Engineer is responsible for the hands-on deployment, configuration, and operation of infrastructure systems designed by the Infrastructure Architect. This role ensures that hardware, network, and application components are installed correctly, tested, and fully operational in production environments.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure network equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, and surge protection.
- Deploy and configure physical hardware such as access control systems, cameras, intercoms, thermostats, and sensors.
- Execute on-site and remote infrastructure installations.
- Implement application systems including admin portals, monitoring tools, and uptime services.
- Perform system testing, validation, and go-live support.
- Coordinate installation schedules, vendors, and on-site logistics.
- Provide front-line operational support and issue resolution.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the Infrastructure Architect when required.
- Maintain deployment records and operational documentation.
- Hands-on experience with network and hardware installations.
- Familiarity with access control, security cameras, and building systems.
- Ability to follow architectural designs and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Comfortable working in live environments with minimal downtime.
- Clear communication with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Pay: $70,000–$120,000 a year
- Flexible language requirement: French not required
- Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime
