We are looking for a Systems Analyst II to monitor, analyze, and support tolling and related technology systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and operational continuity. This position will be a full-time contract role and onsite, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
What You'll Do
Analyze system performance to ensure tolling systems operate efficiently and reliably
Monitor daily and weekly lane performance reports, dashboards, and operational metrics
Perform monitoring and support activities during implementation of new or upgraded systems
Conduct fault isolation and troubleshooting of lane and plaza systems
Provide advanced support for roadside servers, databases, and software applications following required training
Investigate and resolve system anomalies reported by Operations, Finance, and Maintenance teams
Support installation, configuration, and deployment of new lane systems and technology upgrades
Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance
Prepare reports and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support ongoing operational monitoring and maintenance activities
Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementation of solutions
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent military technical training and/or relevant work experience
Knowledge of toll lane operations and troubleshooting fundamentals
Experience supporting Linux operating systems and command-line environments
Basic SQL query development and analysis experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Understanding of Excel Macros, Pivot Tables, and Visual Basic concepts
Familiarity with network and systems management tools such as Orion, CA Unicenter, or similar platforms
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Preferred:
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, or equivalent technical certifications
Experience supporting transportation, tolling, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), or other mission-critical environments
Familiarity with database administration and system monitoring tools
Experience developing SOPs and operational documentation
Experience with system monitoring, performance analysis, and operational reporting
Familiarity with networking concepts, enterprise technology environments, and database technologies
Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings and support operational activities
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Ability to occasionally support after-hours system implementations, upgrades, and incident response activities

$30 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
