Xtract One is currently looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team!

Location: Toronto, ON

Compensation: $66,000 - $80,000 CAD Annual Base Salary, Discretionary Bonus, Benefits, Vacation, Sick Credits, and Stock Options

Vacancy Status: This is a replacement position within the Operations IT team. 

Summary:

Xtract One Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to join the enterprise operations IT team.  The SA will be assigned various projects and tasks by the Senior Systems Administrator in a wide range of areas to support the companies’ technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining many enterprise systems such as, SANs, VMs, NAS, VPN, Routing, Firewalls,Email, Tape, etc.
• Documentation, including user application manuals, knowledge sharing, and procedures.
• Support installation and configuration of CCTV / Video Monitoring Systems.
• Co-develop the creation of and updating the disaster recovery plan.
• Ensure backups and tape data storage processes are always up to date.
• Support and maintain single sign-on processes, such as LDAP, ADFS, SAML, OAUTH, etc.
• Maintain IT assets database and record IT equipment inventory per item as required.
• Implement changes, upgrades and maintain the integrity of the WAN/LAN/WiFi networks, including BGP routing, firewall policies and, site to site VPN’s.
• Support Asterisk based telephone systems.
• Support various IT projects across respective global Xtract offices.
• Maintain SLA’s resolving user support tickets.

Qualifications:

• Graduated in good standing with a Diploma/Certificate in Computer systems/Networks from a College, technical institute or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of work experience; computer and network systems, or enterprise software.
• 1-2 years of work experience; Linux server command line.
• 1-2 years of work experience; IT security systems configuration and management experience.
• 1-2 years of work experience using Proxmox hypervisors. 
• Experience with Password Managers, Atlassian Products, GSuite, MS O365. 
• Experience with AWS or Google cloud. 
• Experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) architecture and certificate deployment.
• Strong communications and a team-oriented approach are essential for the role.
