Maintain and upgrade software, hardware, and network infrastructure; provide L2 support; manage IAM, backups, security (antivirus, firewall, IDS), and Vena servers; perform upgrades, patches, documentation, vendor coordination, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable IT services.
The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. The role involves ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, providing a robust IT environment for all organizational operations. The System Administrator will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the system's integrity, security, and performance are upheld.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Analyze systems hardware and software problems and develop technical solutions, including implementation of upgrades
- Provide L2 technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
- Recommend hardware and software standardization as well as explaining technology solutions to senior management and manage Identity and access management, based on company policies
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, printers, voice, data and video equipment and resolve trouble ticket items
- Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensuring that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule
- Maintain an inventory of installed software and hardware and manage licensing and perform system backups and recovery and test backup, archiving, and recovery plans
- Administer the operation of all LAN/WAN related network services and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and related network problems
- Administer LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures and install, configure, and maintain Vena servers
- Perform scheduled system upgrades, patches, and security configurations and fully document systems / network configurations, processes, procedures, changes, issues and fixes
- Collaborate with Cross function teams to ensure efficient and reliable IT service delivery
- Other duties, as assigned

- 3-5 years of experience in system / network administration.
- Mindset of IT operations principles
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Supporting, configuring, and administering Office 365, Okta, Azure Intune and Entra ID
- Strong understanding of ITIL practices
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Excellent understanding of IAM Best Practices and procedures
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
