YOUR MISSION

PUMA’s Global BI Development Team is in the process of moving BI landscape into Azure Cloud. One main area of PUMA landscape is PUMA API Portal, where our PUMA Data Hub Team is creating data-as-a-service REST APIs. 

You will be part of our Global BI Support Engineering Team and will take care about testing and level 1 + 2 support of PUMA data service applications.

  • Working close together with REST API Developers on projects; create “Operational Guide” and align on deployment time plans. 
  • monitoring of REST APIs and Azure function applications created by developers. Gives feedback how REST APIs performs on production system and propose improvements.  
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues.
  • Provide technical support to external parties/vendors and create FAQ document.
  • Collects PUMA service desk and JIRA tickets to visualize and categorize issues raised by external teams. Reports to developers to prevent issues from happening again.

YOUR TALENT

  • University Degree in Computer Sciences or a similar field of studies.
  • 5 years of experience in Azure environment. Ideally accomplished MS courses AZ-104 and AZ 204.
  • Strong understanding of the following Azure Services: Application Service Plan, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
  • At least 3 years of experience in working with REST APIs and related tools like Postman, openAPI Swagger, YAML etc.
  • Has coding experience in Python and PySpark and working with GitHub repos and VS Code.
  • Has strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Very high motivation in helping teammates to succeed in projects.
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English
  • Willing to work in Makati
