The Opportunity
This critical role will support the Super Hornet and Growler fleet by ensuring platform-specific items of supply are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle, directly supporting capability readiness, operational availability, and supply chain efficiency.

This role is based at RAAF Base Amberley.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately determining and validating supply requirements based on platform demand, usage rates, maintenance schedules, and future operational need.
  • Provide continuous monitoring of inventory levels, demand signals, procurement activities, and distribution networks to ensure critical items are available when required to support operational and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with logistics, engineering, supply chain teams, and customer stakeholders, providing status updates and prompt notification of risks and issues.

Experience/Qualifications
  • Defense inventory system and policy knowledge, skills & experience (eg. MILIS, SAP S/4HANNA, ESCM, DEFLOGMAN).
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and engagement with all levels of management.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
  • Ability to work successfully unsupervised and in a team environment.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams and key internal and external stakeholders.
