Our Finance team plays a key role in helping us stay competitive in the ever-changing retail environment by providing accurate, timely, high-quality financial analysis and advice to our business. With over 600 employees across a variety of programs and projects, our Finance team is helping to ensure that our leaders have right financial information to drive our business forward, especially in regards to the allocation of resources and asset investments.
The FGL Supplier Revenue Specialist is primarily focused on activities relating to the accurate tracking, verification, and timely billing of Vendor Rebates according to the Vendor Policy Agreement. You will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting cycles and account reconciliations.
What you’ll do
The successful candidate will be customer focused as they will be the direct finance contact for both internal (Merchandising, Finance Business Units) and external client groups (Vendors).
Analyze, calculate and issue billings for manual programs and adjustments in a timely manner
Maintain and update all revenue transactions for Vendor rebate programs
Analyze and prepare reconciliations and manual true ups on a quarterly and annual basis
Address both internal and external inquiries and requests on a regular basis
Work with the Team Lead to develop enhancements to current reporting tools as required and prepare/maintain documentations
Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects as required
What you bring
University degree or College diploma in Finance/Accounting
3+ years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role
Excellent written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Proven ability to work independently and function as part of a team while building and maintaining effective relationships
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel is required and knowledge of Access is an asset
Knowledge of Peoplesoft is an asset

Our typical hiring range is between $44,000.00 and $73,000.00. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
