Within the quality department, the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) contributes in the onboarding of new skilled supplier in Arabelle Solutions supplier panel, and in qualifying them in accordance with Arabelle Solutions processes. You will be responsible to monitor the suppliers responsible to execute Arabelle Solutions purchase order, while evaluating their performance; as to ensure the full conformity of the documents and the products delivered to Arabelle Solutions.

Your responsibilities will be:
The quality surveillance of the external suppliers of Instrumentation & Controls products for the new build project of Arabelle Solutions.

  • Assess suppliers QMS through audits
  • Assess suppliers manufacturing capability through Commodity Technical
  • Assessment
  • Assess suppliers conformity to the Supplier Responsibility Guide (SRG)
  • Record related actions plans and approve qualification requests in the
  • supplier database
  • Prepare the products/projects specific Quality Control Plans (QCP) upon
  • request BoP/MSD only
  • Attend pre-award meetings with suppliers and Sourcing/Engineering to agree
  • on the quality control requirements
  • Contribute to PO attribution sheet with quality inputs, and preliminary
  • surveillance strategy
  • Confirm supplier surveillance strategy with project team
  • Organize the kick-off & pre-inspection meetings with suppliers and relevant
  • Arabelle Solutions representatives
  • Review Supplier quality documentation (ITP, procedures,...)
  • Manage the execution of surveillance inspections:
  • - Coordination of the Inspection & Test Time Schedule (ITTS)
  • - Schedule the quality surveillance inspections at suppliers
  • suppliers, as necessary
  • -Perform the surveillance inspections for the critical equipment and suppliers, as necessary
  • - Ensure product compliance with contract requirements and
  • applicable regulations
  • -Timely review and distribution of the inspection reports
  • Release material for shipment:
  • -Ensure all deviations are closed
  • -Review the End Of Manufacturing Reports (EOMR)
  • -Contribute to shipment authorization once all quality requirements
  • are met
  • Manage technical deviations:
  • -Continuously follow up the punch items and nonconformities
  • resulting from the quality surveillance inspections up to their closure
  • -Record and/or distribute nonconformities identified at suppliers
  • -Drive RCA with suppliers, with 8D at least following High & Critical
  • NCRs
  • - Ensure corrective actions are implemented by suppliers
  • Manage surveillance audits:
  • -Organize surveillance audits as necessary
  • -Monitor the closure of actions resulting from on-boarding phase
  • -Record associated reports in the supplier database
  • their performance assessment
  • Support Sourcing in updating suppliers qualification status based on their performance assessment

Profile requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or project quality
  • Background in audits, inspections, or nonconformity management
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a project environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with suppliers
  • Fluent in English

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in energy, power, or heavy industry
  • Knowledge of I&C, electrical systems, or automation
  • Familiarity with quality tools (RCA, FMEA, 8D)
  • Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt)
  • NDT (Level 2 or 3)
