As a Supplier Cost Analyst, you'll manage IT contracts, coordinate vendor activities, analyze quotes, and maintain the contract database while ensuring relationships with various stakeholders in the company.
Synopsis of the role
The Supplier Cost Analyst role within Technology Business Operations is responsible for all IT contracts. This position will work closely with Canadian IT Leadership and corporate teams.
What you’ll do
- Review and gather key contract terms and conditions of contractual obligations.
- Input key contract terms to maintain the department contract database.
- Act as the Beeline subject matter expert for IT managers.
- Develop professional working relationships with IT, Finance, Contingent Labour, Sourcing and Procurement to obtain approvals and ensure timely status updates.
- Coordinate new vendor boarding activities (e.g. Supplier Services Agreements with third party suppliers).
- Issue requests for quotes, analyse quotes received, recommend suppliers.
- Coordinate gathering documentary evidence for governance activities.
What experience you need
- University degree (Business Administration, Business Operations, Procurement and/or Purchasing, Business Law or equivalent)
- 1 to 3 years of work experience in purchasing, procurement, contract analysis, contract administration or a similar position .
- Critical thinking, negotiation skills, professionalism and integrity.
- Advanced understanding of spreadsheets (especially using Google Workspace).
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines
What could set you apart
- Bilingual, French and/or Spanish.
- Customer service experience and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of the lifecycle from quote request to vendor payment (procure-to-pay).
