Summer Student - Sales Enablement

We’re looking for a self-starter with insurance industry experience and the ability to execute strategies that adhere to brand objectives across multiple platforms to join our Digital Sales Enablement Team.

Reporting to the Manager, Advisor Solutions Managers you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and managing insurance sales opportunities generated from our policy management system. 

Who you are:
You are comfortable with technology. Your peers recognize you as an excellent communicator and team player. You use empathy and active listening to understand the needs of your clients and strive to deliver value form the get-go by leveraging content marketing with the policy management system to anticipate Advisor needs.

Your excellent analytical skills and deep understanding of both sales and buyer’s journey metrics allow you to personalize content and communicate accordingly. Your attention to detail allows you to edit spreadsheets and use digital tools to help us grow advisors' productivity.

What You Will Do:

  • Generate qualified sales leads from our policy management system and send to identified Advisors.

  • Update and maintain records in our policy management system.

  • Prepare client-facing, compliant sales presentations to share with participating Advisors.

  • Proactively prepare and send letters to clients.

  • Communicate with and field calls from Advisors and clients.

  • Work collaboratively with the Operations team when potential opportunities are identified from service requests.

  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.

  • Maintain accurate activity logs.

  • Build and test new messaging to improve campaign performance.

  • Support to the Digital Sales Enablement team with identified projects and day to day tasks as required.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a customer service-oriented role; preferably within the insurance industry.

  • Previous insurance sales experience is a plus.

  • Strong business acumen and writing skills.

  • Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to influence and persuade others; both internally and externally.

  • Excellent English language skills required (both oral and written) and French preferred.

  • Critical thinker with the ability to think on your feet, try new approaches and bounce back when things don’t go your way.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Eagerness to learn and a willingness to be coached.

Summer employment runs from May to September.
