ROLE OVERVIEW:


The Office Operations Coordinator will work with all teams, assisting the Office Manager and Operations Director in maintaining Salt's office and handling administrative tasks.

We seek a candidate who values being part of our dynamic People & Culture/Operations team and wants to be at the heart of our vibrant office environment in Toronto. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys balancing routine with unpredictability, and loves being the go-to person for office support.


The ideal candidate will follow, improve, and implement processes with strong attention to detail and organization, efficiently handling various tasks. This full-time, in-office position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the marketing, events, and creative industry, with the potential for a full-time extension.



CORE RESPONSIBILTIES:


  • Office & Facilities Management


  • The role is full-time in office, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.


  • Support of overall facilities maintenance to ensure a functional, inviting and clean working environment, including but not limited to: kitchen and bathroom maintenance during the day, inventory and restocking of office supplies, workstation and meeting room organization etc.


  • Front of house: greeting and welcoming guests, clients, vendors etc., maintain office security


  • Working collaboratively with office partners and suppliers


  • Supporting employees and guests with office inquiries and in-office events


  • Administrative Support


  • Managing mail and package delivery at the office


  • Assisting in the implementation of office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency


  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as required


  • Operations Support


  • Supporting the Director of Operations with proactive operational initiatives such as: Internal systems audits, platform & productivity tools research, vendor sourcing and management etc.


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • High level of efficiency and accuracy, strong attention to detail


  • Strong work ethic and initiative - keenness for rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done


  • Excellent time management skills - able to maintain an efficient daily routine while managing unexpected requests in a timely manner


  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills, critical thinker


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Professional and friendly demeanor - ability to build rapport and collaborate with others internally and externally


  • Organized with the ability to multi-task if required


  • Proactive attitude with a passion for improving process and in-office environment


  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 & good understanding of general office technology


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to work from the office Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5pm


  • Access to a vehicle is beneficial but not mandatory
