ROLE OVERVIEW:


We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Summer Communications Coordinator to support our internal and external communications efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating presentations, managing social media, assisting with agency awards submissions, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment



RESPONSIBILTIES:


  • Supporting with internal communications initiatives such as weekly company Stand Up, Libations and Celebrations, in-office displays)


  • Collaborate in bi-weekly Social Meetings, contributing creative ideas and assisting in the development of timely, reactive content that keeps our brand dynamic and relevant


  • Support in business development and building client relationships by amplifying our reach by curating and resharing standout content from client teams


  • Lead media relations support by research publications for potential features and media opportunities and following through with pitching.


  • Support Agency Communications Manager with thought-leadership program


  • Assistance in Agency Awards program management


  • Support content creation across multiple agency initiatives including website, social media and media relations



EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Proactive attitude with a passion for storytelling.


  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Social media tools such as Sprout. Nice to have editing and design skills for social media.


  • High level of efficiency and accuracy, strong attention to detail.


  • Strong work ethic and initiative - keenness for rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done.


  • Excellent time management skills - able to maintain an efficient daily routine while managing unexpected requests in a timely manner.


  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills, critical thinker.
