Supports the Bermuda Communications Specialist with internal communications, employee newsletters, intranet updates, media inquiries, advertising requests, community sponsorships, committee and event administration, branding, photography, and intranet training. The role also provides administrative coverage and coordinates requests with the Global Communications Department when appropriate.
Chubb Limited invites applications for the position of Communications-Intern (Bermuda). This position would support the Communications Specialist in Bermuda with a full range of communications duties and projects.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing administrative support and coverage for the Communications Specialist
- Assisting the Communications Specialist with the production of a weekly employee newsletter using a digital platform
- Supporting the Communications Specialist with Chubb’s internal Intranet system for the Bermuda region
- Providing cover in the absence of Communications Specialist, fielding media enquiries, internal communications requests and where appropriate, delegate requests to the Global Communications Department
- Providing business support and manage local advertising requests
- Managing all community event sponsorship requests
- Providing administrative support for internal committees and events, assisting with branding, photography, and Intranet training
- An interest in pursuing a career in communications and current full-time enrollment in an accredited university
- Completed at least one year of university at an undergraduate level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with photoshop is desirable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Academic achievement (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA to qualify)
- Bermudian citizenship or Bermudian status
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (May 2028 graduate preferred)
