Integrated Retail Marketing Intern
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid). There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
Work Period: Summer 2025 (May through August)
Summary of Position:
As the Integrated Retail Marketing - Intern, your role will be all about launching new innovative products into the world and focusing on their execution in store and online for our key retail partners. You will gain a deep understanding of the full spectrum of marketing and communication tools a brand can use to engage and connect with customers to drive sales and brand affinity.
You’ll help create campaigns for retail partners to launch new products in the market either through paid, earned or integrated media strategies.
Focus Areas Include:
- Manage vendor portals and ensure new product information is accurate and complete for on-time launches
- Regularly audit product pages for best-in-class content and SEO optimizations
- Competitive landscape/marketing analysis
- In-store audits and visits for POP collateral and in-line displays
- Fill out briefs for media agencies and display vendors for RFQs
- Collaborate with internal teams to create bespoke content to drive awareness
- Work with third party agencies to translate content for French audiences
- Sample management for PR and other media events
- Brainstorming & bringing new ideas to the table
- Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned
Attributes and Skills:
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and drive to identify potential problems and take responsibility for their resolution.
- Intellectual curiosity and creativity, positive can-do attitude, and proven ability to deliver robust, elegant, and innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and dive into hands-on development and testing workstreams.
- Comfortable multitasking and responding quickly to shifting priorities without losing sight of longer-term projects.
Education and Experience:
- Working towards a degree, diploma or certificate in: Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or Business
- Familiarity with Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and Adobe Suite
- Proven understanding and experience working around marketing strategy and execution
