Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and track construction submittals include shop drawings, RFIs, MAR, and other technical documents for completeness and conformance prior to issuance to POR, client, and site team.
- Coordination with Architectural and MEP teams to resolve interfaces, embeds, penetrations, sleeves, and block outs.
- Conduct constructability reviews, identify challenging conditions, and provide/coordinate technical solutions.
- Prepare reports, scope of work, RFIs, and other technical correspondence as required.
- Interface with various stakeholders including vendors, subcontractors, third parties, designers, and client as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Support site inspections and reviews to verify compliance, quality, and adherence to IFC and applicable standards.
- Assist site team with coordinating temporary designs as required.
- Create and maintain trackers for construction submittals and issues, and assist/drive them to completion/closure.
- Participate in and/or lead coordination meetings, including documentation and taking meeting minutes.
- Provide support to internal departments with technical input as required.
- Foster communication and collaboration in all situations consistent with project charter – Trust, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Transparency (TRAIT).
- Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the role.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in construction and design coordination for largescale construction projects.
- Experience with Metrolink infrastructure projects is asset.
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and interface with architectural and MEP.
- Experience with reviewing drawings, RFIs, 3D models, and working with CDE environments.
- Effective communication, organization, and documentation.
