We are seeking a brilliant Strategy & Research Associate to work directly with the co-founders. The person will work closely with our executive, finance, sales, operations and product teams to shape our company strategy and enhance our competitive position in the market.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, products, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
  • Develop perspectives on key competitors, relative strengths and weaknesses, and implications for OneVest
  • Identify strategic partnerships that align with our business objectives and growth strategy
  • Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessment to determine the viability and potential value of business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of strategic projects
  • Prepare investor materials, including presentations, financial analysis, and market research 
  • Advance skills in financial modelling, data analysis, and marketing research techniques

Must Haves:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. CFA, MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a combination of roles across investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, and corporate development in financial services and/or fintech
  • Worked at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan or similar
  • Ability to 
    • work extremely fast and efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality
    • craft beautiful decks (fundraising, sales, internal, etc)
    • create sophisticated financial models 
    • understand tech beyond just a surface level
    • conduct detailed research
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically
