Role Overview


The Strategy & Operations Manager, People & Culture plays a critical role in shaping and executing GoBolt’s people strategy. Reporting to the Director of HR, this role focuses on talent strategy, incentive design and management, and operational excellence to ensure the organization is equipped with the right people, structures, and programs to support growth.

This is an entrepreneurial, high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity, identifies opportunities, and turns ideas into action. While some projects will be assigned, the expectation is that this role will proactively originate, scope, and deliver initiatives that drive measurable business value.


Key Responsibilities


Talent & Workforce Strategy

  • Analyze workforce data (headcount, turnover, productivity, capacity) to inform staffing models and workforce planning decisions
  • Support organizational design initiatives to ensure roles, structures, and spans of control enable scalability and performance

Incentive Design & Performance Programs

  • Design, manage, and evolve incentive and performance-based programs across corporate and operational roles
  • Ensure incentive plans are aligned to business outcomes, operational KPIs, and cost discipline
  • Partner with Finance and HR Operations to model, implement, track, and evaluate incentive effectiveness and ROI
  • Monitor program outcomes and recommend adjustments based on performance data, engagement feedback, and business results

People Operations & Strategic Projects

  • Lead cross-functional people initiatives that improve effectiveness, efficiency, and employee experience
  • Translate business challenges into people solutions (process improvements, tools, programs, or policy changes)
  • Develop business cases, project plans, success metrics, and post-implementation reviews for people-related initiatives
  • Act as a thought partner to the Director of HR on priority initiatives, risks, and opportunities

Analytics, Insights & ROI

  • Build and maintain people-related dashboards and insights to support decision-making
  • Measure and communicate the impact of talent and incentive initiatives on retention, performance, engagement, and cost
  • Use data to proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve workforce outcomes

Entrepreneurial Ownership

  • Identify gaps or opportunities within the people function and broader organization and propose solutions
  • Independently scope, prioritize, and execute initiatives that drive measurable value
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Clear, data-informed talent and incentive strategies that support business growth
  • Incentive programs that drive performance while maintaining cost discipline
  • Improved retention, engagement, and workforce productivity
  • HR initiatives that demonstrate measurable ROI and operational impact
  • A proactive, trusted partner to HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders


Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in people strategy, HR operations, strategy & operations, consulting, or a related field
  • Experience designing or managing incentive, performance, or compensation-related programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into action
  • Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end in ambiguous environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in high-growth, tech, logistics, or operations-heavy environments is an asset
