About Parallelz

Parallelz is building a new way for mobile apps and games to reach users. Our platform transforms native mobile apps into fully-native web experiences in real-time, without any SDKs, code changes, or engineering effort from the developer.

We're a venture-backed, deeply technical team building category-defining infrastructure for the mobile ecosystem.

About the Role

We are hiring a Strategy & Business Operations Manager to sit at the center of the company and work directly with the founders and executive team on the problems that matter most in any given week. You will not own a single vertical. You will own whatever the business needs you to own, ship it, and move to the next thing.

This role is right for someone who wants breadth, proximity to founders, and the chance to build operating muscle across strategy, finance, product, and go-to-market all in the same quarter.

What You'll Do
  • Partner directly with the founders and exec team to translate strategy into operating plans, tracking execution across functions and unblocking what slows us down.
  • Run the company's planning and reporting cadence, including annual planning, quarterly goal-setting, monthly business reviews, and board-level materials.
  • Own the financial operating model. Support FP&A, headcount planning, unit economics, pricing analysis, and the kind of zero-based budgeting questions that come up when every dollar matters.
  • Drive deep-dive analyses on the highest-leverage questions in the business, whether that's a new market entry, a pricing change, a GTM motion, or a product bet. Frame the problem, build the model, ship the recommendation.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that don't have a natural owner. Pick them up, scope them, staff them, and drive them to a decision or a ship.
  • Build and scale the internal operating stack. Identify where we are leaking time, design the process or tooling to fix it, and deploy AI aggressively wherever it creates leverage.
  • Support corporate development and fundraising workstreams, including investor materials, diligence, competitive and market research, and target evaluation.
  • Act as a force multiplier for the executive team, with the judgment to know when to execute yourself, when to delegate, and when to flag a decision up.

RequirementsMust-Haves
  • 2-5 years in a strategy and operations, chief of staff, BizOps, or generalist role at a high-growth tech startup, big tech, top-tier management consulting firm, or investment banking.
  • Strong quantitative chops. You are fluent in financial models, comfortable with a blank spreadsheet, and can move between a P&L, a cohort analysis, and a pricing model without friction.
  • First-principles thinking. You break problems down from scratch rather than pattern-matching to the last company you worked at.
  • Sharp written and verbal communication. You can take a messy problem and produce a one-pager that moves a decision forward.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, breadth, and context switching. You are energized by not knowing what you will be working on next quarter.
  • Active, daily use of AI in your workflow. Not "I tried Claude once" but "here is the agent I built last weekend to automate our weekly reporting."
  • Ownership instinct. You move without waiting to be told, and you close loops.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in consumer tech, platforms, gaming, or interactive entertainment.
  • Exposure to corporate development, M&A, venture investing, or fundraising.
  • A track record of building something end-to-end outside of a structured role, whether that's a product, a side project, a company, or a community.

BenefitsBenefits
  • Group Retirement Savings Plan matching and participation
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision), including Health and Wellness spending account
  • Generous time off policies
  • Access to leading AI tools and platforms
