Job Description
This is a remote, work-from-home position available in the following locations: Toronto, Vancouver & Montreal.
In this senior business development role you will focus on sourcing and signing new distribution partnerships resulting in the growth of our small business and middle market merchants relationships, processing revenue, and competitive differentiation to Chase Payment Solutions. New partnerships will be driven through multiple business development strategies, leveraging your own creativity, personal prospecting efforts and working collaboratively across the bank and other key partnerships.
Among various distribution channels, you will be primarily focused on Franchisors and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) with an additional emphasis on expanding into new partnerships with Associations, Financial Institutions and external sales organizations. Your ability to collaborate cross-functionally, address client needs, build consensus, and engage internal stakeholders for support is essential. You will be challenged and supported to grow professionally as you'll be surrounded by some of the industries brightest both in and outside of JPMorgan & Chase.
You will report to the Head of Enterprise and Partnership Sales in Canada and will be integral to the achievement of aggressive new client growth goals for the team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively building, developing and managing a sustainable pipeline of new partnership opportunities to expand market share.
- Cultivate new partnership opportunities through prospecting, networking, conferences, internal alignment with key sales and banking channels, and other means
- Manage partners throughout the entire sales cycle from prospecting to full implementation (including but not limited to proposals and RFP responses, contract negotiation, documentation and coordinating product partners / implementation teams).
- Conduct detailed needs assessments for prospective partners focused on their business and strategic priorities
- Identify JPMC Merchant Services and Payment solutions that provide a unique value proposition to help partners meet their needs and drive revenue
- Support Partner Development and Relationship Mangers during go to market launch phase to ensure a successful roll out.
- Maintains sales records and prepare sales reports as required.
- May travel up to 50%.
Qualifications
- 7+ years payment industry experience
- Sales and Business Development experience with distribution partners such as ISV's, Franchisors, Financial Institutions, Associations and external sales organizations.
- Strong knowledge of the merchant services industry, products and services with technical acumen
- Experience working with complex partnership models and negotiating referral-type agreements
- Executive presence
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork-orientation
- University degree preferred
