About the Role
As the Strategic Finance Associate, you will play a key part in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis, providing valuable insights to guide strategic decisions across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Develop and maintain financial models across the business
- Analyze real-time financial data and business metrics and present findings to our CFO
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis
- Support the monthly financial reporting process with our CFO and accounting team
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support decision-making, as needed
- Partner with our Capital Team to support our structured finance strategy and reporting for our asset financing facility
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree preferably in finance/accounting/economics or another STEM-focused field
- Strong financial modeling background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
Preferred
- Experience in automotive finance
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience in an operating role
