The Team:
The Expand Account Executive is a core member of our Italian enterprise sales team, responsible for driving growth within existing strategic accounts. This role focuses on expanding the adoption of Celonis solutions in the Public Sector and Financial Services (FSI) verticals. The Expand AE works closely with Value Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and other cross-functional teams to uncover new opportunities, increase account value, and deepen customer relationships.

The Role:
As an Expand Account Executive, your primary goal is to drive revenue growth by expanding existing client relationships. You will work closely with clients to identify opportunities for additional products and solutions, ensuring they realize maximum value from Celonis. You are a trusted advisor, guiding accounts toward new capabilities and broader adoption, and helping the company achieve long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and execute expansion opportunities within assigned accounts in the Public Sector and FSI verticals.
  • Build and nurture relationships across multiple levels of client organizations, including executive stakeholders.
  • Understand client business objectives and operational challenges, and articulate how Celonis solutions can deliver measurable impact.
  • Lead account expansion activities, including upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.
  • Collaborate with Value Engineers and Customer Success Managers to design tailored solutions, demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Partner with consulting firms, SaaS partners, and other ecosystem players to identify and execute joint expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM records to ensure visibility and alignment across the sales organization.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in expanding existing enterprise SaaS accounts, with measurable revenue growth achievements.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Track record of selling enterprise software solutions to C-level executives.
  • Experience collaborating with consulting partners or other enterprise solution providers.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Deep understanding of Public Sector and Financial Services (FSI) markets
