The Frontend Platform Team is the driver for the vision of web development at Robinhood! Our team exists to deliver a healthy and resilient web platform at scale.
As a Frontend Platform developer team member, you’ll be working with colleagues that have a diverse set of skills, operating across large-scale horizontal projects that drive impact via leverage. This individual will help accelerate the burgeoning team that is building the Robinhood legend product! Your customers are Robinhood’s web developers who build out our product.

What you’ll do- Contribute across client, server, and infrastructure powering the Robinhood Web App and Robinhood Legend.
- Build libraries and frameworks that materially boost developer velocity across the Web platform.
- Optimize local dev servers, CI, and tooling to streamline developer workflows.
- Design frameworks and tools that empower other developers across teams.
- Lead platform-level projects from inception through launch as a technical expert and driver of impact.
- Become the go-to expert for the systems and components owned by the Frontend Platform team.
- Champion best practices, mentor junior engineers, and strengthen Robinhood's Web developer community.
- 8+ years of professional Software Development experience
- Demonstrable experience as a Staff level developer with over 6 years of professional experience working with modern Web technologies
- Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments
- Obsessed with building a best-in-class developer experience
- A track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large scope technical projects at scale
- Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes
- Deeply understand broad engineering and product disciplines so that you can work effectively across functions and skill-sets
- Experience with Typescript, React, Next.js, NodeJS (Bonus if you have experience with Babel, Webpack, or Bazel)
