About the role

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Game QA Engineering team, you will drive initiatives that enable our QA and Product teams to move faster and with greater confidence. You’ll determine the right technologies and architect scalable solutions that contribute to a comprehensive quality coverage strategy and track against key performance metrics. You’ll engage in a regular feedback cycle to ensure we’re building what the team really needs.  You will leverage your expertise to lead other engineers in organization wide initiatives.

What you’ll achieve
  • Drive the development of our game test automation framework, partnering with QA and Dev leaders to address the most important demands
  • Build a suite of services and tests that provide ongoing verification of all our Platform Engineering projects and middle-ware tools
  • Design tools that enhance efficiency and productivity for QA and development operations
  • Establish best practices for the team, ensuring solutions are optimized for performance and scalability across various environments and project demands
  • Support the growth of QA Engineers across various responsibilities, from framework and test development to building advanced testing tools and scripts
  • Explore emerging technologies such as AI to help define the future of QA strategy
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
  • Proficiency in programming with C# and Python.
  • Experience working with game engines, such as Unreal or Unity.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure orchestration and build pipeline design.
  • Background in building automation or development frameworks for games or mobile applications.
  • Experience developing internal tools or working in DevOps environments.
    Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2) and familiarity with messaging services.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams, gather and define project requirements, and drive successful delivery.
