About the role

We are seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager to lead the development and execution of Syndio’s Intelligent Pay solution. This role will drive the roadmap for a suite of products, including Syndio’s pay recommendations product, ensuring seamless integration into customer workflows. You will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, helping organizations make smart, consistent, and strategic pay decisions.

This role is ideal for an execution-driven, data-informed product leader with a strong background in compensation, HR technology, or analytics-driven enterprise solutions. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Go-to-Market teams to refine and deliver high-impact solutions that empower organizations to drive equitable and competitive pay strategies. Success in this role requires balancing rapid execution with data-driven decision-making, ensuring strong customer adoption while continuously evolving our pay intelligence capabilities.

Why this job is exciting

Strategically Lead the Product Roadmap:

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for Intelligent Pay, aligning with Syndio’s broader strategy to deliver actionable, real-time pay insights.
  • Develop a balanced roadmap, prioritizing quick wins and long-term product differentiation.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements, ensuring pay recommendations enhance compliance, competitiveness, and strategic decision-making.
  • Define success metrics and adoption KPIs to measure impact and guide iterative improvements.

Champion Resolution of Technical and Functional Challenges:

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to develop a highly accurate, transparent, and explainable recommendation engine.
  • Work with the Design team to create an intuitive, data-driven user experience.

Optimize Processes and Develop Team Expertise:

  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Legal teams to drive smooth go-to-market execution and strong customer adoption.
  • Establish best practices for measuring the impact of pay intelligence solutions, including A/B testing, user research, and data validation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and iteration, leveraging customer feedback and market trends to refine the product strategy.

Navigate Ambiguity to Foster Clarity:

  • Pay intelligence is evolving rapidly, with shifting regulations, emerging technologies, and increasing customer expectations.
  • Balance speed and data-driven decision-making while ensuring the roadmap aligns with customer expectations and business goals.

About you

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally in HR tech, compensation, or workforce analytics.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to align and influence multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Execution-focused with a bias for action—can navigate ambiguity and drive results while ensuring alignment.
  • Data-driven but adaptable, able to blend analytical decision-making with customer intuition.
  • Comfortable with experimentation and iteration, verifying assumptions before scaling solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Science and Engineering teams to build AI-driven insights or recommendation engines is a strong plus.
  • Must be located in Greater Seattle, Bay Area, or Greater New York
