Lead multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for Webflow's agent surfaces and AI platform. Align cross-functional teams, set quality standards and guardrails for non-deterministic agent experiences, serve both developers and creators, prototype and ship product improvements (including contributing code), and mentor PMs while measuring and iterating on outcomes.
The summary above was generated by AI

Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality.

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager, AI to own the agents and the platform they run on inside Source, a new product where modern marketing teams and their AI agents build, optimize, and scale digital experiences together. Source connects a company's codebase and marketing stack into one governed workspace.

Your area spans the experience of working alongside those agents, the platform underneath (the framework, sessions, memory, and evals), how agents reach Source from outside it through MCP and the CLI, and the durable context every agent works from.

That means serving two groups at once. The developers who connect and extend the system, and the marketing teams doing the ongoing work of building brand and driving growth inside it. Both now work alongside agents, and neither will hand over real responsibility to something they can't trust. Much of what "good" looks like here hasn't been written yet, and you'll define it.

About the role:
  • Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)
  • Full-time
  • Permanent

  • The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

    • Canada (figures cited below are in CAD and pertain to workers in ON & BC, Canada
      • 232,000 - 278,000

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

  • Reporting to the Director of Product

As a Staff Product Manager, AI, you'll…

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the agent platform underneath Source: the agent framework and service, agent sessions, shared context and memory, the core orchestrator, and the experience of steering agents while they work. You'll set the direction and drive it through to delivery with Engineering, Design, and Data.
  • Ensure agents are capable, and safe to hand real responsibility to. Agents should disclose what they can do and where they came from, run with limited permissions, and land their work as a reviewable change rather than a silent merge. You'll define how autonomy expands as trust builds, along with the audit trail and cost visibility that make it defensible.
  • Set the standard for what "good" means when products never behave the same way twice. Define the quality bar for agent experiences, and the eval infrastructure, harnesses, guardrails, and metrics that hold the whole area to it.
  • Build the primitives once that every Source workstream ships on. Teams across Webflow are building specialized agents on your platform, from site building and content to optimization and marketing. Sequence the work so the pieces reinforce each other rather than solving the same problem three times.
  • Make Source reachable from wherever the work happens. Own the MCP and CLI interfaces so outside agents and scripts get the same capabilities as embedded agents, under the same disclosure and permission model.
  • Centralize the context agents build from. Agent Instructions give a project durable, governed steering, so every agent works from the same brand, structure, and business context instead of rediscovering it session by session. You'll decide how that concept evolves inside Source.
  • Drive alignment across Webflow, not just your own teams. Represent the agent area to leadership and to the other Source workstreams, partner closely with the team building deterministic and long-running agent workflows, and navigate cross-functional disagreement independently and constructively.
  • Roll up your sleeves and build. Product Managers at Webflow deliver value any way they can, up to and including contributing to the product directly in code. You'll prototype ideas, ship improvements yourself where it helps, and stay close enough to the implementation to make sharp product calls.
  • Place durable, multi-quarter bets as the AI landscape shifts. Models, protocols, and techniques are evolving fast; you'll stay close to customers, tell real standards from fads, and keep raising the bar on how fast and how well we ship.
About you:

Requirements:

  • BS / BA college degree or relevant experience

You'll thrive as a Staff Product Manager, AI, if you:

  • Have 8+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in AI-powered systems and a track record of owning strategy for large, ambiguous product areas. Experience with platforms, APIs, and extensibility.
  • Know where LLM-based tools shine and where they break down, from substantial hands-on work with agent systems, code generation, or programmable interfaces.
  • Have set the bar for "good" on non-deterministic products, defining the evals, guardrails, and success metrics that keep quality high when outputs vary from run to run, and getting a team to hold to them.
  • Have built platforms other product teams ship on. You've treated other teams as your customers, drawn the line between what to build once and what to leave to them, and can point to primitives that outlived the first thing built on top of them.
  • Can serve two audiences at once. You've built developer-grade tools and approachable products for marketers, and hold both in view without shortchanging either.
  • Enjoy the full craft of building software. You're curious about every part of how products get made and like getting into the details wherever the work needs you, whether that's opening a pull request, leading a user interview, prototyping an idea, writing a query to pin down a metric, or writing a sharp brief.
  • Lead through influence rather than authority. You set strategy and bring Engineering, Design, GTM, and leadership along, holding your own with senior stakeholders and moving decisions forward without waiting to be told. You set patterns other teams adopt and mentor as the practice grows.
  • Stay curious, building fluency in emerging AI to speed up both your own work and your team's.
Our Core Behaviors:
  • Build lasting customer trust. We build trust by taking action that puts customer trust first.
  • Win together. We play to win, and we win as one team. Success at Webflow isn't a solo act.
  • Reinvent ourselves. We don't just improve what exists, we imagine what's possible.
  • Own it all the way. We move fast because the moment demands it, and we hold ourselves accountable to deliver outcomes — for each other, and for customers.
Benefits
  • Ownership in what you help build. Every permanent Webflower receives equity (RSUs) in our growing, privately held company.
  • Health coverage that actually covers you. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for full-time employees and their dependents, with Webflow covering most premiums.
  • Support for every stage of family life. 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents and 6+ weeks of additional paid leave for birthing parents. Plus inclusive care for family planning, menopause, and midlife transitions.
  • Time off that’s actually off. Flexible vacation, paid holidays, and a sabbatical program to help you recharge and come back inspired.
  • Wellness for the whole you. Access to mental health resources, therapy and coaching.
  • Invest in your future. A 401(k) with 100% employer match (up to $6,000/year) in the U.S., and support for retirement savings globally.
  • Monthly stipends that flex with your life. Localized support for work and wellness expenses — from Wi-Fi to workouts.
  • Bonus for building together. All full-time, permanent, non-commission employees are eligible for our annual WIN bonus program.

Temporary employees may be eligible for paid holiday and time off, statutory leaves of absence, and company-sponsored medical benefits depending on their Fixed Term Contract and their country/state of employment.
