Role Description
As a Staff Product Designer working on Dash, you will be at the forefront of reimagining design for the next generation of AI-powered products. You will help define the future of our AI experiences, collaborating across teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies that make our product even more intuitive, intelligent, and powerful.
Responsibilities- Drive impact and take initiative and deliver high-quality work that creates meaningful value for customers
- Champion customer needs and deeply understand Dash customers, validate solutions through research and testing, and ensure designs address real user problems.
- Design intuitive interactions, create flexible, scalable interaction systems. Anticipate edge cases and design seamless, multi-step, cross-platform experiences.
- Craft thoughtful visuals and apply strong visual design principles—including layout, color, typography, and hierarchy—to produce clean, effective interfaces.
- Explore and iterate, taking a methodical approach to solution exploration—testing concepts at various levels of fidelity. Generate a wide range of ideas informed by user input, data, and business needs.
- Align with product strategy to understand our business model and how the product strategy supports it. Design solutions that align with strategic goals and are grounded in customer insight and data.
- Make smart decisions and engage the right stakeholders, incorporate customer perspectives, and make timely, well-informed decisions that move work forward.
- Communicate with clarity, communicate ideas clearly in both writing and speech to build shared understanding and support effective decisions. Keep stakeholders informed and aligned by proactively sharing context and raising issues early.
- 6+ years of experience in product design
- Exceptional craft and attention to detail in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Proficiency with prototyping tools to showcase complex features and web flows.
- Experience using and contributing to design systems.
- Proven track record of launching and iterating on products with a focus on business and customer impact.
- Strong customer obsession with extensive experience leveraging UX research for foundational insights and iterative design.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional partners, including designers, researchers, PMs, data scientists, and engineers.
- Experience spanning the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and iteration.
- Ability to measure impact through both quantitative metrics and qualitative insights.
- Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to driving projects and teams forward.

Compensation
Canada Pay Range
$178,500—$241,500 CAD
