As a Staff Designer on our Practitioner Experience team, you will leverage your expertise in visual and interface design to elevate our platforms. This is an individual contributor role where your skills will directly influence the design and functionality of critical health technology tools, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction across diverse product divisions.
What you'll do:
- Implement high-quality design solutions from the initial concept to the final output, focusing on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- Though not managing directly, your role as a Craft Leader involves mentoring team members, enhancing their skills in interface design, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Work closely with the design team to refine processes and deliverables, ensuring high standards of design excellence are met consistently.
- Act as a key connector across various product divisions, facilitating communication and alignment on design initiatives.
- Use your strategic insight to influence project outcomes and contribute to the broader company goals.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: At least 7 years of product design experience, with a strong focus on user-centered design.
- Design Proficiency: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Research Capability: Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects at once.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Experience mentoring and coaching other designers.
- Project Leadership: Experience leading design projects and teams.
