Role Description

As a Staff Designer on Dash, you will be at the forefront of reimagining design for the next generation of AI-powered products. You will help define the future of the Dash experience collaborating across teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies that make our product intuitive, intelligent, and powerful.

Your role will focus on: Driving strategy and working across teams to design and ship a seamless experience. Ensuring exceptional design craft within the organization by collaborating closely with talented teams of Product Designers, Research Leads, and Content Designers, maintaining high standards of design excellence and precision. Identifying and driving areas of opportunity and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a design strategy, collaborating across teams to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering partners to define, design, and ship features.
  • Craft clear narratives that translate complex, technical subjects into compelling stories.
  • Share your expertise and excellence by leading through example in your design work, mentoring other designers, and creating opportunities to share knowledge across the Design team.
  • Work proactively as a trusted partner with Engineers, Product Designers, Content Designers, Brand Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and leaders at all levels
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in an individual contributor design role.
  • Exceptional interaction and visual design skills, with the ability to craft compelling user experiences, particularly in AI technology and/or leading consumer products.
  • A portfolio showcasing significant contributions to shipping customer experiences that have made a measurable impact on business and customer metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, including engineering, product management, and leadership, influencing design strategy and ensuring successful execution.
  • Expertise in Figma.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building products in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Prior experience with 0-1 product initiatives.
