What You'll Do

  • Architecting, Designing and Verifying DSPs using high speed mixed-signal PHYs like PCIe, Ethernet
  • Roles available in all these areas - working on new variants of these protocols.
  • Develop scalable testbench components for verifying critical RTL and firmware features using UVM.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Alphawave SerDes and DSP cores; develop test cases to control these components optimally.
  • Oversee the end-to-end verification flow, from verification plan creation and review to implementation and sign-off on tape-out.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop verification requirements and define critical feature scopes.
  • Mentor junior team members.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of ASIC design verification experience.
  • Hybrid role based in Ontario, with a preference for candidates in the GTA or Ottawa office.
  • Extensive experience (9+ years) in building reusable testbenches and strong debugging skills.
  • Proficiency in UVM and SystemVerilog.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools and methodologies for digital verification.

It Would Be Amazing If You Had

  • Experience with SerDes.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and/or PCIe protocols.
  • Familiarity with the CMIS standard.
  • Understanding of peripherals/protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, NVMe, APB, AHB, etc.
  • Experience with RISC-V microcontrollers.
