What is the Opportunity?

Do you have a passion for Cloud technologies and love to solve problems and provide hands-on solution and help enable the customers in Cloud? Are you customer obsessed and have a growth mindset?

As part of Customer Engineering team, you will be a key technical resource for the internal RBC line of businesses, primarily focused on architecting, designing, implementing and delivering customized solutions and providing tailored guidance in deploying the services to Cloud ecosystem. This will also involve collaboration with multiple functional groups within Cloud, technology infrastructure and operation groups within RBC.

What will you do?

  • Work with application teams, be a technical advisor and provide guidance to resolve challenges for internal customers looking to deploy the services to Cloud.

  • Collaborate with platform engineering teams and help contribute to develop and implement solutions for cutting-edge cloud-native ecosystem.

  • Engage with support, platform and product engineering teams to ensure streamlined customer experience.

  • Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance to drive cost reduction and efficiency.

  • Create educational material to provide best practices, user guides and sample code for our customers.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes.

  • Experience helping customers design and build applications in Cloud platform.

  • Proficiency with Azure public cloud services and infrastructure.

  • Effective presentation skills, with the ability to deliver technical presentations.

Nice to Have

  • Building Kubernetes operators and managing production workloads

  • Knowledge of SRE principles

  • An aptitude for learning and solutions design

  • Azure and/or Kubernetes certification is a bonus
