The Sr. Trader will execute trades, manage positions, analyze markets, develop strategies, and create trading playbooks while ensuring compliance and maximizing P&L.
About Rodan Energy
Rodan Energy is a North American leader in energy intelligence and distributed energy resources, enabling a more reliable, cost-effective, and decarbonized grid. We partner with large energy users, utilities, and grid operators to design, finance, and operate high-impact DER solutions.
About the Role
Rodan Energy manages one of Ontario's largest demand response portfolios (300+ MW) and operates across IESO, AESO, PJM, NYISO, and MISO. As wholesale markets evolve and opportunities expand, we're hiring our first dedicated trader to execute our trading strategy and build the foundation for a high-performing trading function.
As Senior Trader, you'll execute trades across multiple ISOs, manage positions, and develop the playbooks that will define how Rodan trades. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be in the market every day—not managing from the sidelines. You'll work directly with the Director of Energy Markets, with a clear path to lead the trading team as we scale.
What You'll Do
Trading Execution
Note: Please submit your resume and a brief summary highlighting your trading experience, markets traded, and any relevant P&L responsibility.
Please note that a criminal background check and reference checks will be conducted as part of our hiring process.
