Sr Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting
Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Reporting, they will oversee complex technical accounting analyses, transitions and implementations, consolidate overall monthly results, prepare Group Consolidated Financial Statements (US GAAP) and Statutory Financial Statements (IFRS). He will also play a key role in the year-end consolidated audit and in various statutory audits.
Prepare global consolidation and external reporting for multiple entities operating in multiple currencies. Perform technical accounting analyses and prepare notes to guide accounting conclusions under US GAAP and IFRS, including but not limited to revenue allocation for SaaS contracts with multiple deliverables (ASC 606/IFRS 15), goodwill impairment, purchase price accounting, lease accounting. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive year-end financial statements with corresponding notes in accordance with US GAAP, as well as various statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Ensure that accounting data is accurate and that financial controls are in place to maintain accuracy. Streamline and improve reporting and consolidation processes within the Finance team. Technical lead for the implementation of various reporting tools. Support potential M&A opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA designation (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP a plus) Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Very good command of Excel and MS Office
- Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Industry experience is a plus
- Experience with Big 4 audits
- Experience in M&A Ability to work to very tight deadlines
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Strong leadership skills
