What Implementation Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Implementation Management is responsible for planning, organizing and leading solution implementations. Manages project plans, resources, and commitments to the customer. May be involved in budgeting and financial requirements. Monitors and tracks the progress of implementations. Partners with sales and the customer early in the process to develop implementation project plans. Works with management and peers to develop consistent methodologies based on best practices for efficiently implementing solutions.
The Senior Specialist, Implementation is responsible for working with customers, sales, and internal teams for end-to-end account integration. This role actively accesses customer needs to ensure accounts are set up accurately, timely, and in compliance with Specialty standards and business rules.
Responsibilities

Customer-facing role responsible for implementing new Physician Office, Metro Medical, and Specialty GPO based business

Business Project Management - demonstrates and executes on knowledge and understanding of relevant Specialty business processes at various levels to ensure successful completion of project and process

Consultation - uses deep subject matter expertise, influence and process skills to help the customer and sales identify and meet their high priority needs

Customer and industry knowledge - applies knowledge of the customer's business and GPO expertise to develop optimal solutions for both internal and external customers

Customer experience - ensures that customers, sales, and our downstream partners have a positive implementation experience; commits to meeting or exceeding expectations. Provides routine status updates regarding implementations

Implementation - manages implementation process that involves a variety of tasks, leading efforts of involved parties; forges strong partnerships with appropriate constituencies; measures performance of implementation against desired results and makes improvements
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Customer service, problem solving, and analytical skills preferred

Strong ability to multitask and manage a high volume of work against deadlines

Business Objects reporting experience preferred

Pharma and/or Specialty experience preferred

SAP and Salesforce knowledge preferred
