This is a creative role responsible for building the applications that connect with our CRM back-end services, ensuring data is secure, performant, and reliable.

About the Role

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will lead feature development by designing scalable Python APIs and Apex code to integrate AI insights into Salesforce and other 3rd party systems (Teams, Slack, SAP, Workday). You will bring technical excellence in systems design, containerization, pipelines, trunk-based development, events, and caching.
Key Responsibilities

  • API Development: Design and build high-performance back-end services using Python to facilitate communication between Salesforce and Workday CLM services.

  • Salesforce Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Salesforce using Apex, triggers, and Visualforce.

  • Performance, Governance & Data Management: Write efficient and scalable code in both Apex and Python, with a deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits. Actively monitor and optimize code to ensure platform performance.

  • Security & Reliability: Implement robust security measures across all APIs and data integrations. Ensure systems are fault-tolerant and highly available.

  • Operational Excellence & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure the health and performance of all integrations and back-end services.

  • Collaboration: Partner with Salesforce Administrators, business analysts, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

About You

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!

At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security.  Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers.

Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.

In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.
