About the team and the role:

The Vehicles team at eBay is seeking a Sr. Product Manager, who is passionate about online commerce, customer experience and the Vehicles category. We are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for driving innovative and bold product ideas to drive long-term, sustainable growth in eBay's Vehicles business. You will be hands-on in the formulation and execution of our product roadmap with a constant obsession to define and solve customer problems.

As the Sr. Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the Vehicles Product that plays a key role in enabling growth for our categories portfolio at eBay, collaborating with engineering teams and delivering on category specific product roadmap. This includes working closely with core engineering & design leads, business units, and multiple Product & Engineering teams from our category teams at eBay. This is an individual contributor role expected to drive execution of multiple product initiatives in a matrix organization. Most importantly, you should be a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. What you will accomplish:

  • Lead the planning and execution for a portfolio of products. Deliver on key strategic priorities and build a forward-looking plan to achieve our business goals.

  • Build a fast-moving culture in close partnership with Research, Design, Engineering, Analytics and Business leadership.

  • Partner with a variety of cross-domain product managers across the organization (Selling, Buying, Payments etc) to help shape the vision of the Vehicles team.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across eBay’s product and business organizations; align on the product roadmap with partners in the core product and technology teams as well as within the teams across functions: marketing, operations, finance, and strategy.

  • Utilize data and analytics to drive product decisions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization on progress & updates

  • Partner with user research to analyze user feedback to identify areas of improvement

  • Work with designers and engineers to ensure a high-quality user experience

  • Ensure product complies with all applicable industry regulations

What you will bring:

  • 6+ years of product management, strategy consulting or related experience

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources

  • Demonstrated experience in writing unambiguous and clear technical specifications

  • Influenced product narratives through a structured problem solving approach

  • Experience successfully leading multiple projects through product life cycle from concept to delivery while meeting schedules and budget

  • Customer-centric problem solving skills, proven results in setting a high bar for customer experiences within tight constraints

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

C$133,200 - C$177,800

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
