What you will be doing
You will be joining the Core Banking and Payments Technology Line of Business. The Senior PAT (Performance Acceptance Test Architect) would drive PAT delivery of several current and upcoming high profile business initiatives in Core Banking and Payments Technology Line of Business. This role is Senior level and requires the ability to architect and troubleshoot performance problems across environments. Below are some of the responsibilities of this role: Perform all activities in the PAT lifecycle planning, development, execution etc.; Architect and drive approaches and solutions to PAT including those requiring out of the box tools and solutions; Expert knowledge with Application Performance Monitoring tools having the ability to isolate root cause or at least guide resources in where to look; Ability to drive troubleshooting conversations but at a much deeper rooted, development layer; Become the SME across multiple PAT applications - Deposits, Lending, Payments and Fraud, building deep underlying knowledge with respect to its technology; Drive/lead the troubleshooting conversations across vendors, ADM, DBA’s and supporting teams; Drive all PAT E2E initiatives while ensuring a thorough understanding at an enterprise; Help with estimates, by attending all requirements and planning sessions; Look beyond performance testing into engineering by assessing new tools and solutions to automate the automated; Look for better ways to simulate or emulate integration with other LOB’s in the absence of end to end PAT environments; Attend and participate in roadmap meetings, helping to iron out scheduling conflicts and impacts; Ability to administer and update current out of the box solutions especially those developed in house; Ability to train junior staff and aid with challenges pertaining to performance testing. The role is responsible for providing technical expertise and advice regarding a wide spectrum of existing and emerging testing practices, tools, and processes, leading complex testing projects in compliance with established controls and standards.

How you'll succeed

Testing expertise – Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.

Leadership skills – Provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases, and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.

Project coordination – Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project’s timeline, budget and goals.

Automation and Engineering - Lead the Automation Team in not only the maintenance of existing packages but also the evaluation, design and implementation of new automation technologies, frameworks, DevOps products and techniques; Planning and forecasting of team capacity; Single point of contact for all initiatives and provide senior level technical consulting to technology teams and senior management.

You are experienced in load runner enterprise, Jmeter, Neoload. You have 8+ years of experience in performance engineering tools such as dynatrace, splunk etc. You are proficient in CICD concepts; performance testing and/or development experience.
