What You’ll Be Doing

As Senior Manager Digital core you'll be at the center of the digital transformation for Simplii financial. You will be responsible for successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects. As a Senior Development Manager, you will join to Simplii Financial, division of Personal Business Banking, Simplii and Direct Investing Technology, where you will lead a high performing team of development specialists delivering innovative products and services.  This role will manage a team of developers, DevOps engineers, and development automation testers utilizing SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of products and services, ensuring adherence to standards, through test driven development and code reviews.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Understanding Requirements – Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • People Leadership – Lead and coach a high performing team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.
  • Relationship Management – Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements. 

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience: as a hands-on Senior Development Manager, leading a team building Innovative customer facing solutions, utilizing cutting edge technologies. Ideally, you are adept at Design Solutioning and have proven experience with Microservices running in Azure.  It’s an asset if you have strong knowledge of UX, and Digital.
  • You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
