Your Impact
The Senior HR Business Partner aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business functions. They form partnerships across the HR Centers of Excellence to deliver value-added service to management and employees that are in direct alignment with DISCOs business
objectives. They partner with assigned business functions in delivering Corporate HR policies and programs.
What You'll Do
  • Human Resources Advisory and Performance Management: Brings a strong understanding of HRpractices to meet business needs and objectives, and resolve HR issues. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers such as coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention, as well as providing HR policy guidance and interpretation. 
  • Employee Relations Management: Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations, and provides recommended next steps with guidance post investigation. Identifies a fair and inclusive process appropriate for employee concerns or grievances including overseeing employee fact-finding and ensuring adherence to employee relations policies and practices. 
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees including but not limited to; working with managers to finalize new hires, promotions, transfers and terms, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed or required. 
  • Workforce Strategy and Planning: Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning. Leads and supports special projects related to workforce planning and development
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Creates and provides reports that will assist the business in making data-related decisions. Carries out job duties that are varied and complex, utilizing independent judgment.
Who You Are
  • 7+ years of experience in a HRBP or similar role.
  • Proficiency with HR tech stacks. (Workday/Greenhouse preferred)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, client service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative practices related to those factors
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, benefits, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and local employment laws
  • Expert knowledge around company policies and procedures
  • Experience working for a high growth tech company
