About this role/ team:

Liftoff’s Corporate Finance team needs a temporary Senior Financial Analyst to help cover for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be going on temporary leave.

Responsibilities: 

  • Structure, build, and maintain complex financial and decision-making models, including cash forecasting, to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Operate the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including Annual planning, Quarterly forecasts, and budget vs actuals analysis
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial review packages for executive management and the Board of Directors
  • Support senior leadership on ad-hoc research and analysis
  • Work closely with Sales Finance to review, refine, and finalize financial and operating metrics and leverage to forecast accurately.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience, ideally in investment banking, equity research, or FP&A
  • Robust financial modeling, ideally with experience in Tech or other high-growth industries
  • Robust systems aptitude and proficiency, including expert Excel and PowerPoint skills. NetSuite and Pigment experience a plus
  • Proficient analytical and critical thinking; ability to communicate complex concepts at a high level
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail
  • Superb communication skills and ability to skillfully manage relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • History of cross-functional work with well-developed relationship management & collaboration
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBAs invited to apply; CFA/CPA a plus)

The role is remote-first, but you are required to be based in Pacific time zone hours.

Compensation:

This is a 4-6-month contract position with an hourly rate of $60-$70/hr

Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location. Liftoff provides employees a total compensation package of competitive market salaries, equity, health and wellness stipends, medical benefits associated with your country of residence. The base compensation will vary based on location, experience as well as level.
