Sr Customer Sales Manager (18 month contract) at a glance...
As a Sr. Customer Sales Manager, you are a critical driver of the management of all selling and executional activities to achieve customer revenue and profit targets for a large national customer (retailers). You have the talent, drive and understanding of the retail sales environment to generate sales volumes. Your ability to discover and capitalize on account opportunities is unparalleled. And as a member of one of the strongest sales forces in Canada, you will form the crucial link between Kraft Heinz and the customer, dedicating your results-oriented approach to the type of proactive, business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our success at Kraft Heinz Canada.
Through the development of a collaborative relationship with customers, the Sr. Customer Sales Manager is the key link between Kraft Heinz and customer on all business development opportunities and challenges.
This role is being offered as an 18 month contract position for external candidates and a secondment for internal candidates.

  • Leverages strong analytical, technical and syndicated data expertise to successfully execute the category management process, securing customer co-operation to mutually beneficial category response plans.
  • Clearly understands customer needs and strives to deliver revenue, share, and contribution growth through the use of knowledge-based solutions.
  • Pro-actively identifies and implements business-building initiatives that contribute towards the achievement of superior business results for Kraft Heinz/customer.
  • Identifies and implements new and unique ideas and opportunities that influence the consumer to buy
  • Successfully manages trade spending and forecasting within category responsibilities
  • Plays a leadership role within Sales Customer Business Teams through management of special projects, mentoring and coaching of junior team members.

  • I have extensive progressive experience in Sales including Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG Account Management experience with national retailers where fact-based selling and category reviews are leveraged
  • I have experience using sales reporting systems and AC Nielson systems
  • I have the ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • I have a solid understanding of financials including trade spending and profit and loss statements
  • I have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with customer
  • I have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
