Develops campaign concepts, brand messaging, scripts, headlines, social content, and long-form copy across digital, print, video, advertising, and other platforms. Collaborates with creative and client teams, researches audiences and culture, presents concepts, edits copy, maintains brand voice, manages multiple deadlines, and mentors junior copywriters.
We are looking for a passionate and strategic UX Writer who will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience through well-crafted and user-focused content. As a UX Writer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital products are informative, persuasive, and aligned with our brand values.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and define content requirements.
- Create clear and engaging content that guides users through their journeys, including user interface copy, microcopy, and error messages.
- Develop user personas and scenarios to tailor content to different user segments and use cases.
- Conduct content audits and work with teams to improve the consistency and effectiveness of content across platforms.
- Perform content usability testing and gather feedback to refine and optimize content strategies.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure content and design work harmoniously to create a seamless user experience.
- Stay updated on content design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Advocate for user-centered content principles and contribute to a culture of content excellence within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a UX Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful content design work.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft user-centered content.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and their application to content design.
- Experience creating content for web and mobile applications, including user interfaces and microcopy.
- Proficiency in collaborating with design tools and platforms.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with user research methodologies and content usability testing.
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimization principles is a plus.
- Experience with accessibility and inclusive design practices is a bonus.

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
