What you'll be doing

As a Sr. Consultant, Financial Planning & Advice Sales Effectiveness, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Planning & Advice team, with a focus on the Financial Planning Consultant job family. You’ll provide expertise in managing sales and business development activities, collaborating across Sales Effectiveness, National Office, and cross-functional teams to drive market-leading growth in Personal Banking and Imperial Service. You’ll coordinate with various partners to share insights and best practices for new initiatives, product launches, and business development efforts that enhance client offers and sustained referral opportunities. You’ll work closely with Strategic Initiative Franchising, Marketing, Talent Development, and Product teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of leads, offers, and campaigns. Your focus will be on developing recommendations that drive business results, deliver exceptional client experiences, and balance profitability with governance and controls. You’ll act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring that strategic growth priorities are understood and achieved in line with Personal & Business Banking strategies.

How you'll succeed

  • Sales Effectiveness Leadership – Collaborate with the Senior Director to develop and execute strategies that support business growth and operational compliance. Provide business direction for work packages and activities that drive sales effectiveness.

  • Strategic Advisory & Implementation – Represent the business on projects, ensuring needs are clearly articulated and met. Develop and implement people change management and communication strategies for initiatives, pilots, regulatory changes, and policies.

  • Training & Process Improvement – Support day-to-day training needs, manage and update training curriculums, and proactively identify process improvements. Liaise with stakeholders to gather input and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Data-Driven Insights – Utilize data and insights to understand business strengths, opportunities, and risks. Track, analyze, and report on initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategies and objectives.

  • Relationship & Partner Management – Build and maintain productive relationships with internal partners, including Personal Banking, Imperial Service, Specialized Advice, and other support teams. Coordinate to ensure consistent operational processes and share best practices for continuous improvement.
